Podere Sassarello is set amongst lush vineyards and fruit orchards. Taking in the peace and tranquillity of this location in the rolling hills around Castel San Pietro Terme, it’s easy to forget that just a short distance away lies Bologna’s historic town centre and its important trade and industry hub. The house is set amongst the greenery of a large tree-lined garden and offers three lovely bedrooms, one with a double bed and two with twin beds. Each very comfortable room is uniquely furnished in an original style and, inspired by the old saying that sees a traveller coming upon a welcoming place where he can lay his hat and rest, they are named after types of hats : Bombetta or Bowler, Barbisio or Trilby and Paglietta, the Straw boater.
